El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. (NYSE: EPB) today announced that the Board of Directors of its general partner has declared a quarterly cash distribution of $0.36 per unit for the fourth quarter of 2009, or $1.44 per unit on an annualized basis. This distribution represents an increase of 12.5 percent from the $0.32 per unit paid for the fourth quarter 2008 and an increase of 2.9 percent from the $0.35 per unit paid for the third quarter 2009.
The distribution will be paid February 12, 2010 on all outstanding common and subordinated units to holders of record as of the close of business on February 1, 2010.
